"Intentional Growth"

Spiritual growth is not so much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" - becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. It's not what we do along the way that is most important. What really matters is who we are becoming in the process. Ultimately, the Christian life is about building an intimate relationship with Jesus as the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out.

Our church is excited to partner with you by providing a "navigation system" for your journey with Christ. We invite you to explore the various opportunities we offer to help you take your next steps of spiritual growth.  So...GET AROUND THE BASES!

Starting Soon! Discovery Class 301

God didn't design ministry for just the few with seminary degress. In the church every member of the church is a minister. This is what 301 is all about. Through the SHAPE process, you'll learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences to minister to others in need. Beginning Sunday, May 16,2010, Class 301 will be offered during the Sunday School hour. Pastor Ruba will be teaching the class which runs approximately 8 weeks. Please call the church office to register.  Classes 101 and 201 are prerequisites to this class.

Class 101 - Membership

Discovering Christ and the Local Church. This seminar gives you an overview of Lewisburg Alliance Church - what we believe, what we offer and how we operate. In this session, you will have opportunity to ask questions about salvation, believer's baptism by immersion, staff, structure, ministries, Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination etc.

Class 201 - Maturity

 Discovering Spiritual Growth. This seminar gives you tools to help you grow spiritually. As one man once said "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime." In this seminar we focus on four habits that will keep your walk with God strong - prayer, Bible study, Christian fellowship and generosity.

Class 301 - Ministry

Discovering your Personal Ministry. This seminar helps you focus in on the way God made you. In this seminar you will begin to identify how God want to use your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences to SHAPE you for personal ministry to others.

Class 401 - Missions

Discovering your Mission. One of the hardest things for people to do is to talk with others about their personal relationship with Christ and yet nothing in this world has a greater eternal benefit! There is nothing more important than helping those around you come to a personal relationship with Christ. This seminar gives you tools to help you to cultivate relationships with those outside the church, to learn how to plant seeds of faith in others and to help others make a commitment to Christ.
